Youssoufa Moukoko on the verge of leaving Borussia Dortmund | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano reports that Danish champions Copenhagen are working on a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko on a permanent basis. Both clubs are close to reaching a final agreement, while the 20-year-old remains tempted by the opportunity having already said ‘yes’ to the move.

It comes after Moukoko’s failed loan spell at OGC Nice where he played just 199 minutes of Ligue 1 football, scoring two goals and providing two assists across 11 league games. The French side had an option to sign the Germany international on a permanent basis but decided against exercising the clause.

Moukoko has just one year remaining on his contract at Borussia Dortmund and despite once being heralded as the next greatest German attacker, has failed to live up to expectations. With fewer minutes in France, Moukoko – per Transfermarkt – saw his market value half from €20m to €10m.
