Thomas Berenbruch is part of the Inter Milan squad in the United States for the Club World Cup this summer.

Naturally, Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu has brought plenty of young players.

The Romanian has a lot of experience working with Inter at various youth team levels. Therefore, he is very familiar with a number of the players who have come through the ranks.

Chivu has given opportunities to the likes of Valentin Carboni and Francesco Pio Esposito. And these have resulted in real star turn for the young players.

But even those players who haven’t taken to the pitch, such as Thomas Berenbruch, have still gotten plenty out of the experience.

Thomas Berenbruch commented that being at the Club World Cup is “definitely a pleasure.”

“As it was to be included in the first team over the rest of the season.”

‘For those of us who come up from the Primavera team, it’s a great opportunity,” Berenbruch said.

“We’re happy to be here. With a coach who we know well, and who’s already worked with us in the past.”

“I can certainly say that we as young players give our all,” Berenbruch said.

“We have few training sessions in which to prove our worth,” the 20-year-old noted. “So giving our all is fundamental.”

“And for us, it’s also our duty,” he added.

“We already do it in the Primavera team. So we have all the more reason to do so with these top class players around us.”
