Matheus Cunha of Wolverhampton Wanderers has played in several roles for the Premier League club, including as an attacking midfielder, secondary striker, and center-forward, and has found success in each position.
The 25-year-old has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 15 appearances across all competitions. After struggling at Atlético Madrid, Cunha has settled at Wolves, tallying 23 goals and 12 assists in 71 appearances.
His performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and PSG reportedly showing interest in him. Despite the attention, Cunha, under contract until 2027, is said to be happy at Wolves, where he feels content in the Premier League.
However, Fichajes claims that if an offer exceeding €70 million were to come in, Wolves might reconsider their stance.

Former Manchester United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown spoke with Football Insider and believes that Cunha will turn down offers of a new contract from Wolves amid growing interest from top clubs ahead of the transfer window.
“He’s definitely capable of stepping up from where he is,” Brown told Football Insider. “I’m not surprised Wolves seem to be doing everything they can to keep him there. But if they can’t, they’re likely to demand a big fee for him so they can at least make some money.
“From what I’ve heard, it doesn’t look like he’s going to sign a contract there at the moment. They’re in a relegation battle so he won’t want to make a commitment at this stage, especially when you consider there are top teams interested in signing him.
“He’s been performing well in spite of his team’s results, and that’s always a good sign in terms of his ability to make the step up, and it’ll do no harm to the interest in him. I would be surprised if he didn’t turn down any new contracts from Wolves to keep his options open.”
