Xabi Alonso will stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, we can expect Kylian Mbappe to lead the line for the Madrid giants up top.

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Dean Huijsen will feature alongside Eder Militao at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.

Arda Guler, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will make up Real Madrid’s midfield. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough clear-cut chances for Los Blancos to earn a convincing win this weekend.

Attack

Vinicius Jr. will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Brahim Diaz looks to impress as the right-sided wide player. Kylian Mbappe will spearhead the Madrid outfit’s attack down the middle.
