Slot in Liverpool dugout at Anfield despite FA charge for dismissal at Goodison Park
Arne Slot landed himself in hot water when he was sent off following the Merseyside derby on Wednesday.
The Liverpool manager was shown a red card after approaching referee Michael Oliver on the pitch at Goodison Park.
Everton had just scored a 98th-minute equaliser and Slot has admitted “emotions got the better of me” on what was a dramatic night in the Premier League title race.
The Premier League initially reported on its website that Slot would be banned for two matches “for using offensive, insulting, or abusive language”, but that was later deleted.

But the FA confirmed on Friday that Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff have been charged.
Slot has been charged for “allegedly acting in an improper manner and/or using insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards both the match referee and an assistant referee after the match had finished”.
But Slot will be in the dugout when Liverpool face Wolves on Sunday, as the Premier League leaders bid to to re-establish a seven-point lead at the top of the table after Arsenal won 2-0 at Leicester on Saturday.
Slot has until Wednesday, February 19 respond to his FA charge and any potential ban has not been imposed in time for the Wolves match.
Liverpool face Aston Villa in another big game on Wednesday.
If Slot accepts his FA charge and is given a one-match ban before Wednesday, he will be banned from the touchline at Villa Park.
If Slot is slapped with a two-game ban for his red card at Everton, the Dutchman would also miss next Sunday’s trip to Manchester City.
