The Serie A match between Fiorentina and Inter will need to be rescheduled following Edoardo Bove’s on-pitch collapse during the 17th minute at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday night, and the league are due to meet on Monday to discuss the re-arrangement.
Here is when the fixture is likely to be carried out.
As is protocol for matches that are suspended in Serie A, the game will continue from where it was originally halted. In this case, Fiorentina-Inter will resume from the 17th minute.
Due to a busy fixture list between Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League and Conference League commitments, the game will not be able to be played before the end of the 2024 calendar year.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the first available dates for the Fiorentina-Inter match to be carried out are in February 2025.
If both Inter and Fiorentina qualify for the top eight in the Champions League and Conference League respectively, their Serie A match is likely to be carried out on February 12 or February 19.
However, it still depends on their finishes in the league phases of their respective European competitions, which will not be officially confirmed until January.

Bove was rushed to hospital after collapsing off the ball in the 17th minute of the Serie A match between Fiorentina and Inter on Sunday evening.
The 22-year-old was reportedly breathing autonomously on his way to hospital, and later regained consciousness at the Careggi facility in the city of Florence.
Reports on Monday morning confirm that the Fiorentina midfielder is awake and that he was able to say “Thank you everyone,” from his hospital bed.
