What Premier League clubs have planned for pre-season

The season might have just finished but pre-season is not too far away, with Premier League clubs travelling far and wide to prepare for the 2025/26 campaign.
Here’s what English sides have planned… (this article will be updated as more is announced).
The reigning champions will travel to Asia for their pre-season tour this summer. Arne Slot’s side will travel to Hong Kong, China and Japan.
They will start their tour by taking on AC Milan in Hong Kong on Saturday 26 July.
The Reds then face Japanese side Yokohama FM at the Nissan Stadium on Wednesday 30 July.
Their only other confirmed game is the Community Shield at Wembley against Crystal Palace in on Sunday 10 August.

The Gunners will also travel to Asia this summer, and will play games in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
They play AC Milan on 23 July at the Singapore National Stadium, before playing there again on 27 July when they take on fellow Premier League side Newcastle.
Mikel Arteta’s team then travel to Hong Kong where they will play north London rivals Tottenham on 31 July.

City will have a slightly different pre-season schedule compared to some of their rivals due to their participation in the Club World Cup in the USA.
They will play Moroccan side Wydad AC on 18 June, United Arab Emirates club Al Ain on 22 June and then Juventus on 26 June to determine whether they will advance in the competition.
The Blues are the only other English team taking part in the Club World Cup this summer. They face LAFC in their first game on 16 June before playing Brazilian club Flamengo on 20 June. Their last currently scheduled game is against ES Tunis of Tunisia on 25 June, but could play more games in the competition.
Eddie Howe’s side are another who will make the trip to Asia in July, but before then are scheduled to take on Celtic at Celtic Park on 19 July. They then face Arsenal in Singapore on 27 July before playing Tottenham in South Korea, with a date for that clash yet to be confirmed.

Crystal Palace have yet to announce any other pre-season games than the Community Shield with Liverpool on Sunday 10 August.
David Moyes’ side are another who will take part in the Premier League Summer Series in the USA.
