Chelsea are back in action again this Saturday when they make the very short trip across London to play against West Ham in the latest Premier League match.

Chelsea are off the back of a 1-0 win away at Bournemouth last weekend, whilst The Hammers drew 1-1 away from home at Fulham, another local game for them.

EXCL: Inside story of Chelsea player being dead set on joining Crystal Palace in the summer but Chelsea moved the goalposts…

West Ham have not got off to the best of starts under the new manager and with a pretty newly formed squad, but they will be hoping to finally find a bit of momentum at home to Chelsea this weekend.

Manchester City went there and won 3-1 just a couple of weeks back, but I do think this is going to be a tough game for Chelsea, especially after we needed a huge Robert Sanchez man of the match performance to beat Bournemouth last week.

West Ham fans seem confident Romeo Lavia will not be playing

West Ham website, The West Ham Way, write:

‘West Ham handed a huge injury advantage ahead of this weekend’s London derby.

‘Chelsea have had their fair share of injuries problems for well over a season now. Some of their big signings were sidelined early into their career at Stamford Bridge.

‘Undoubtedly the most frustrating of these from a Chelsea point of view is Romeo Lavia.

‘Chelsea fans were unsurprisingly ecstatic to see both Lavia and Malo Gusto back in training, with many believing they could be available to play against our Irons on Saturday. Thankfully, this isn’t the case, as confirmed by a social media post from the Blues’ X account. “Romeo Lavia and Malo Gusto continued their rehabilitation on Tuesday with another modified session as they continue their recovery from injury.“’
