Timothy Weah assures he ‘likes’ his new role as a False 9 when Juventus visit Aston Villa in the Champions League this evening, seeing the injury crisis as ‘extra motivation.’
It kicks off at Villa Park at 20.00 GMT.
The Bianconeri made the trip to Birmingham with only 14 outfield players in the squad, as they are decimated by injury problems.
Dusan Vlahovic, Weston McKennie, Arkadiusz Milik, Nico Gonzalez, Vasilije Adzic, Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal and former Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz are all out of action.

That means Weah has to move from the wing to become a False 9, although it is not entirely a new role for his career.
“I like it, it’s different,” the USMNT star told Amazon Prime Video Italia.
“I hope to score tonight, as helping the team is the most important thing. I just have to do my job, if I can score or assist, then that’s perfect. The team has to work together and keep going.”
Weah was asked if Juventus felt anxious at the sheer number of players who are missing.
“No, it gives us extra motivation. Tonight is a big game, we must try to do what we did in training.”
There are only four outfield players on the bench this evening, along with two goalkeepers.
