A sidelined member of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona was spotted in attendance on a commercial flight to Milan for the club’s upcoming meeting with Serie A champions Inter.

The player in question? Jules Koundé.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action in short order, having made the trip to Italy for a Champions League semi-final 2nd-leg showdown with the aforementioned Inter Milan.

Koundé, for his part, will not be at the disposal of boss Hansi Flick for the clash, having picked up a hamstring injury during last week’s opener between the sides.

But the Frenchman has evidently not allowed as much to dampen his spirits.

This comes amid confirmation that Koundé has made his way to San Siro, to show his support for his teammates.

After the rest of Barcelona’s squad departed for Milan on Monday, the former Sevilla man followed suit 24 hours later, joining a large contingent of Blaugrana supporters on a commercial flight.
