A first glimpse at the new jersey set to be made use of by Barcelona star Lamine Yamal for the season ahead has on Wednesday come to the fore online.

This, of course, comes as the 17-year-old prepares to take over ownership of an iconic squad number in Catalunya’s capital.

The number in question? 10.

It has been common knowledge for some time now that Lamine is being lined up for the shirt formerly worn by the likes of Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.

Following the departure of Barca’s previous 10, in Ansu Fati, this week, the door has in turn been opened for the Blaugrana’s wing sensation to step through, and continue to add to his legacy.

The official announcement on the part of Barcelona themselves is yet to arrive, understood to have been pencilled in for Lamine’s 18th birthday this month.

But as alluded to above, those of a Blaugrana persuasion have on Wednesday nevertheless been afforded a first look at their beloved attacker’s new jersey.

As showcased in the footage below, as part of the release of the club’s new home kit, ‘Lamine 10’ shirts were spotted being produced:
