Since the Qatari ownership took control of Paris Saint-Germain in 2011, the club has consistently aimed to sign a superstar player. While the focus has shifted toward developing young talent, PSG may still be looking for a standout figure to lead this new phase.
Journalist Jorge C. Picon recently reported that PSG could pursue Vinicius Junior if the right opportunity arises, potentially making a bold move to challenge Florentino Pérez and Real Madrid.
At this stage, there hasn’t been any serious approach, and contact has been minimal. However, PSG are closely monitoring Vinicius’s situation. Reports from Spain also suggest that Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping an eye on him and could act if the chance comes up.
That said, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has downplayed the likelihood of Vinicius leaving. He explains that linking the Brazilian to Chelsea, PSG, or Manchester United right now isn’t realistic, as while there’s interest, no discussions are currently taking place.

SPORT reports that Vinicius’ future is uncertain, even to him. The Brazilian forward does not miss an opportunity to publicly express his desire to stay at Real Madrid and to point to the club crest, but his situation in Spanish football is not easy.
He feels defenseless due to the treatment he receives from referees, convinced that they are targeting him more than protecting him, and from rival fans, who, in many cases, cross the line with their racism.
Moreover, a recent report from Mundo Deportivo reveals that an ultimatum is coming, and Real Madrid must decide.
According to the Spanish outlet, Mbappé isn’t a fan of Carlo Ancelotti’s style of play. He reportedly told those close to him that he’s accustomed to having the team play around him, as it was with PSG.
Mbappé cannot play the wing because Vinicius plays there, but the player’s departure could allow the Frenchman to play the position he feels most comfortable in.
