Van nistelrooy explains how Leicester can still avoid relegation

Gambar artikel:Van nistelrooy explains how Leicester can still avoid relegation

Some may say Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is a dreamer. Maybe misguided. Or, possibly, Deluded. That's because the ex-Manchester United star still believes. Still believes. That's right, he remains positive during this pretty disastrous season. The man at the LCFC helm doesn't necessarily think we'll drop down to the Championship. He's a more optimistic man than I.

But how does van Nistelrooy envision the King Power club actually getting out of the predicament they're in. Obviously he essential has to say this or make it his stance - or he might as well quit! However, do we Foxes fans consider avoiding relegation plausible at this point? Is the 48-year-old being realistic in his expectations? Can he do it?

There are also rumours circulating in the City sphere concerning the one-time PSV Eindhoven boss's current standing at King Power Stadium. Is it true van Nistelrooy could potentially be sacked before or after the Tottenham Hotspur fixture? Spurs have their own form and managerial problems. Will Ange Postecoglou even be in the dugout for the Leicester visit?

RvN will be in charge of Leicester. A late change in the hot seat is almost inconceivable right now. He even did the press conference. In fact, the Foxes hierarchy are said to be unable to dismiss and appoint another gaffer this campaign. This is due to financial restrictions.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's cunning plan is to rely on once relegated Foxes?!

Van Nistelrooy thinks City can survive because their main defenders were demoted from the top flight previously. Indeed, they do have unwanted experience in that respect, Ruud.

As you can tell by my sarcastic tone, I somewhat disagree. Well, unless a couple of exceptional transfers arrive this month. Here is what RvN said:

"You could look at the squad and you know which players were involved in the relegation two years ago. It’s not only in the back four. It’s in the middle of the pitch, up front, and the goalies as well. There’s a fair bit of players who lived that situation and who knows what it’s about, and what the consequences are. It’s good to have them around because they know from experience what it did with them, and they will do everything they can so it doesn’t happen again."RvN
