Valencia still keeping tabs on Umar Sadiq

Still on the hunt for a striker to bolster their attacking line, Valencia CF may well revisit the Umar Sadiq option.

Although the club is currently focused on strengthening the defense and midfield, attack remains a priority, with Hugo Duro as the only natural center-forward in the squad. After regaining form late last season under Carlos Corberán, Umar Sadiq proved his worth, but Real Sociedad no longer counts on him and is looking to offload him this summer. While no concrete offer has yet come from Mestalla, the situation could change.

Los Che could also draw inspiration from the "Umar model" with another profile: Enes Ünal, who has struggled at Bournemouth after a serious injury. However, with the Turkish forward only a realistic option in January, Umar Sadiq remains available as early as this summer. And for a player already adapted to LaLiga and Corberán's system, he remains a credible option.
