After losing Ronald Araujo to an apparent hamstring injury, things turned worse for Uruguay in their meeting with Brazil on Saturday.
Things remained goalless after over an hour of action, and as Rodrygo looked to change that, he was taken out by Nahitan Nández.

The Cagliari man went in studs up on the ankle of the Real Madrid star. After initially being shown yellow, VAR changed the colour to red and sent him walking.
Brazil had roughly 15 minutes to use their man advantage but failed to do so and ended up losing on penalties.
