Two undisclosed Premier League clubs have sounded out Napoli’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa as a possible summer transfer.

According to a report by AreaNapoli.it, Napoli midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is shortlisted by two clubs from the Premier League and they may make a move soon to land him in the summer.

The Cameroonian midfielder has yet to make his future aspirations known to Napoli but a response from his side is expected to come in the next few weeks to clarify the situation.

Napoli manager Antonio Conte is satisfied with Anguissa’s presence in the midfield and the player shares a warm relationship with the technical department of the club.

The Partenopei owner Aurelio De Laurentiis does not consider any player from the squad to be nontransferable but any club looking for the signature of the 29-year-old must meet the CEO’s sizeable demands. Covering Anguissa’s salary which is currently at €2.7 million net per year plus 300 thousand bonuses will not be a problem for any Premier League side but negotiating with De Laurentiis on the transfer fee will be a huge task.

Napoli might renew the player until 2029 with a significant raise to fend off any potential suitors but it is up to Anguissa now to make the call on his future.
