It has also been revealed that Nico O’Reilly and Rico Lewis have withdrawn from the England under-21 squad. The injuries are mounting amongst Pep Guardiola’s squad heading into the international break.

In an announcement on mancity.com, it was revealed that Rico Lewis and Nico O’Reilly have withdrawn from the England under-21 squad. Lee Carsley’s side are due to face Kazakhstan in their 2027 UEFA under-21 European Championships qualifying fixture on Monday. Lewis and O’Reilly will not take part in the match and are due to remain at the CFA to have their injuries assessed.
