Two Barcelona stars could join the same club this summer | OneFootball

Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona could be set to reunite at a new home for the season ahead.

That’s according to La Vanguardia, who point towards Iñaki Peña and Héctor Fort as the pair in question.

Both goalkeeper Peña and defender Fort, of course, are expected to be on the move before the summer is out.

In the case of the former, as much comes following the arrival of Joan García, whilst the latter has slipped behind full-back pairing Eric García and Gerard Martín in the pecking order in Barcelona’s squad.

Earlier this week, Fernando Solanas, representing the two players, therefore sat down for a meeting with Blaugrana sporting director Deco.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday is anything to go by, then one particular suitor now appear to be the frontrunners to land Peña and Fort alike.

As per a report from La Vanguardia:

‘Both are being sought for loans, with Como being the club with the best chance of securing both.’
