Just days before the much-anticipated FIFA Club World Cup semi-final between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique has received a major boost that could cause trouble for Los Blancos.
According to SPORT, PSG will have Achraf Hakimi and Fabian Ruiz available for the big game despite injury scares earlier in the week.
There were serious concerns after both Hakimi and Fabian missed Sunday’s recovery session. Neither trained with the team, choosing to work indoors alongside Presnel Kimpembe instead.
That immediately set off alarm bells among the PSG fanbase, especially considering how crucial both players are to Luis Enrique’s system.
Hakimi’s explosive runs down the right flank have been one of PSG’s most reliable attacking options, while Fabian brings calm and control in midfield, often dictating the tempo and helping the team push forward.
Their availability comes as a relief for the French giants, who will already be without William Pacho and Lucas Hernandez due to suspensions following red cards in the quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

On the other hand, Real Madrid are dealing with their own problems ahead of this high-stakes fixture. Dean Huijsen will miss the game after picking up a red card in the win over Borussia Dortmund.
This leaves manager Xabi Alonso with a big call to make in defence, especially since Raul Asencio has not looked entirely convincing during the competition.
Up front, another challenge is brewing. Kylian Mbappe is back and ready to start, which could affect the place of Gonzalo Garcia.
The young striker has been in fine form, scoring four goals in the tournament so far. But with Mbappe returning, Alonso may be forced to drop the in-form forward.
As both teams finalise preparations, the return of key PSG stars and Madrid’s internal dilemmas make this a semi-final packed with intrigue.
