Arsenal will lock horns with Liverpool at Anfield this Sunday afternoon as they hope to secure a good result away from home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to secure a 5-0 win over Leeds United recently which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will set his team up in a 4-3-3 and could be forced to make one change to his first team for this game. Leandro Trossard is expected to play from the start of this contest. However, Arteta would be sweating on the fitness of Martin Odegaard, who has not trained for the club after suffering a shoulder injury recently.
David Raya will function in between the sticks for the Gunners after securing a clean sheet in his last appearance. William Saliba will operate alongside Gabriel at the heart of the Arsenal backline as they hope to maintain a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.
Jurrien Timber will try to impress as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori will try to keep Mohamed Salah quiet as the left-back. Arteta would ask both of them to perform their defensive duties well so that they can limit the chances Liverpool create from the wide areas.
Cristhian Mosquera will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Arteta will stick with his favoured midfield three of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Martin Odegaard as they hope to retain possession well at the centre of the park. However, as mentioned earlier, Odegaard is a major doubt for this game, so Eberechi Eze will be on stand-by just in case the Norwegian playmaker fails to recover in time for this clash.
Mikel Merino will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second half if required.
Leandro Trossard will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank. Noni Madueke should get the nod to operate as the right-sided wide player. Viktor Gyokeres will lead the line for the Gunners down the middle.
Max Dowman will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Arsenal are in need of a goal by then.
