All the latest on Deadline Day as Premier League clubs push to complete business

Video OneFootball

It is deadline day in the January transfer window and a number of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are expected to be active before 11pm. Manchester United are among the busier clubs around at the moment, with Marcus Rashford completing his loan to Aston Villa to finally end his first-team exile under Ruben Amorim. A new striker remains a priority for United, and it is reported that Liam Delap has emerged as a top target.

Arsenal are also being tipped with a move to sign a new forward, having seen a bid rejected for Villa star Ollie Watkins. Mathys Tel also remains a target, with the Gunners said to be battling Manchester United for his signature today.

Tottenham are another club expected to be busy. Spurs have already signed Kevin Danso on loan from Lens, and are believed to have had a bid for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi rejected amid new links to Chelsea’s Axel Disasi. They reportedly remain on the lookout for a new attacking player to join Ange Postecoglou’s squad too, with Joao Felix, Leon Bailey and Alejandro Garnacho all linked. Man United keen on Douglas Luiz

Manchester United are interested in a move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz.

The 26-year-old has struggled for regular minutes in Turin since arriving from Aston Villa last summer.

Luiz was linked with Manchester City earlier in the window and the Daily Mail report that United are also admirers of the Brazilian, but an agreement with Juventus is not close.

The Guardian report that Arsenal want a loan with an option to buy the winger in the summer, but Bayern want it to be an obligation.

As it stands, the Gunners are said to be considering other targets.

Bradford hope to secure Tayo Adaramola loan

Bradford City are in advanced talks to sign Tayo Adaramola on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season, writes Dom Smith.

The 21-year-old was on loan at Stockport County until he was recalled last month, and he is now set to move the League Two club.

Bradford sit seventh in the table and are firmly in the hunt for promotion.

Spurs want forward signing - but Tyler Dibling move on hold

Tottenham remain in the market for a forward before Monday's transfer deadline but have cooled their interest in Southampton's Tyler Dibling, writes Dan Kilpatrick.

Spurs have held talks over the 18-year-old winger but were put off by the Saints' demands of an astronomical fee, well in excess of their reported £55million asking price.

Dibling will have two years remaining on his contract at St Mary’s in the summer, when Spurs could be among a number of clubs to reassess his situation, particularly if rock-bottom Saints are relegated from the Premier League.

Spurs agreed a £50m fee with Bayern Munich for Mathys Tel, 19, last week but the France forward is reluctant to leave the German club permanently and turned down the move.

Spurs have considered Aston Villa's Leon Bailey and Noah Okafor of AC Milan, although neither player is being actively pursued ahead of Monday's 11pm deadline.

Christopher Nkunku set to stay at Chelsea

A deadline day move for Christopher Nkunku is looking unlikely.

The Athletic report that the Chelsea striker is expected to stay at the club, with Manchester United and Bayern Munich refusing to meet the £65m valuation. It’s suggested the two clubs are willing to pay around £40m.

United made a move over the weekend to sign Nkunku on loan, but that was rejected.

More on Tottenham's Marc Guehi bid

Tottenham’s bid for Marc Guehi was £55m up front, with the potential to rise to £70m in add-ons.

That’s according to The Guardian, with it reported that the bid was made before Spurs completed the signing of Kevin Danso.

It is increasingly likely that Guehi will remain a Crystal Palace player beyond tonight’s deadline.

Carney Chukwuemeka to complete Dortmund loan

Carney Chukwuemeka is set to join Borussia Dortmund on loan on what could be a busy deadline day of outgoings at Chelsea, writes Malik Ouzia.

Chukwuemeka has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge this season, making only five appearances across all competitions. Only one of those was from the start, away to Kazakhstani side Astana in the Conference League.

The 21-year-old joined Chelsea in a £20million switch from Aston Villa in 2022 and threatened a significant breakthrough at the start of last season. Then, he started the first game of the campaign - a 1-1 draw with Liverpool - under Mauricio Pochettino and scored his first Blues goal against West Ham a week later.

However, he was forced off in the first game with a knee injury that subsequently required surgery and his development has stalled since.

Chukwuemeka is now expected to get the chance to reignite his career at a Bundesliga club with a recent reputation for nurturing young English talent, though the deal must be completed before the German transfer window shuts at 5pm GMT this evening.

Fulham hunt two signings

I'm told Fulham are prioritising just two positions today, writes Dom Smith.

Their only focus is targeting a right-back and a winger.

They are not close to reaching an agreement with anyone yet, but they are busy trying to find solutions in both positions, with injuries to Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson having left them short.

Arsenal to loan out Maldini Kacurri

Arsenal youngster Maldini Kacurri is closing in on a loan move to League Two side Bromley, writes Simon Collings

The 19-year-old, who signed a new contract with Arsenal last summer, made his first-team debut this season.

Kacurri came off the bench during Arsenal’s 5-1 win over Bolton in the third round of the Carabao Cup back in September to make his senior bow.

The centre-back has since been on the bench for Arsenal, but it has been agreed he should go on loan in order to secure more game time.

West Ham made to wait for Daniel Cummings

Daniel Cummings is now a summer target for West Ham after the club gave up on attempts to sign the striker from Celtic on deadline day, writes Dom Smith.

The Hammers will now work on finalising a pre-contract agreement for the 18-year-old to join in the summer.

That is after Celtic rejected two bids from West Ham, who had wanted the forward to join them this month.

Scottish youth international Cummings has agreed personal terms with West Ham but has not been allowed to leave in the current window, with Celtic expecting to receive £350,000 if a deal to sell Cummings to the Hammers can be completed.

Standard Sport understands he would then join up with them in the summer.
