Tottenham Hotspur head to the Etihad this weekend to take on Premier League champions Manchester City.
Both sides are looking to respond to defeats before the international break, with Spurs having lost at home to Ipswich Town. It was a shock setback for Ange Postecoglou, as Ipswich recorded their first win since promotion in North London.
Spurs have been a frustratingly inconsistent watch so far this season, mixing some fine performances with costly dropped points.
Postecoglou will hope his team can repeat their Carabao Cup triumph over the Citizens from earlier this month, though their away form is a concern. Spurs have won just once in five Premier League games on the road this season.
Tottenham are short at centre-back with Micky van de Ven ruled out with a hamstring injury and Cristian Romero absent with a foot problem. Radu Dragusin and Ben Davies will deputise in central defence.
Wilson Odobert and Richarlison remain on the absentee list with hamstring issues of their own, while Rodrigo Bentancur will start his seven-match suspension this weekend.
The Uruguay midfielder has been sanctioned for discriminatory comments he made about teammate Son Heung-min. Spurs have appealed against the length of his ban.
Spurs predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Bissouma, Sarr, Kulusevski; Johnson, Son, Solanke.
Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday 23rd November 2024. Kick-off at the Etihad is 5:30pm GMT.
For a UK audience, The game will be broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
