Tottenham interested in Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix (25), according to L’Equipe. The French outlet reports that other top European clubs are also monitoring the player.

Lacroix began his career at FC Sochaux-Montbéliard and, after two seasons in Ligue 2, joined Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg in August 2020. He spent four seasons at the Volkswagen Arena before moving to Premier League side Crystal Palace in August 2024.

Lacroix made 43 appearances for Palace last season, helping the club secure a 12th-place finish and a historic FA Cup win over Manchester City. Although the victory initially earned Palace qualification for the UEFA Champions League, the club were later demoted to the UEFA Conference League in favour of Olympique Lyonnais.

Tottenham are preparing for a return to the UEFA Champions League after their UEFA Europa League victory in May 2025 – beating Manchester United 1-0 in the final.
