Tottenham Hotspur see signing West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus this summer as a top priority, and they believe the London Stadium club will sell him for around £60 million, according to journalist and transfer insider Ben Jacobs.
The West Ham star has a release clause of £85m, which applies to Premier League clubs, but Spurs are convinced they can bring the 24-year-old to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club for much less.
Spurs were keen on Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze, but their interest did not reach an advanced stage and they are now looking to sign Kudus instead.
West Ham want to generate funds for the summer transfer window as manager Graham Potter looks to recruit quality players, and they are ready to cash in on the Ghana international.
The Hammers have also offered him to Chelsea and Manchester United, but it appears both clubs are currently concentrating on other targets, which could give Tottenham an advantage in the pursuit of the former Ajax star.
Kudus is said to be open to joining the North London club, and agreeing personal terms with him will not be a problem from the look of things.
Spurs are willing to sell Brazil international Richarlison and the West Ham forward appears to have been identified as his direct replacement.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank would fancy his chances of getting the best out of Kudus again following a dip in form in his second campaign in the Premier League after he hit the ground running in his debut season.
The former Brentford boss turned the likes of Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo into solid attackers and could succeed with the West Ham forward should a move work out.
He has given his green light for the departure of Richarlison but is open to the arrival of Kudus, and the chance to play Champions League football next term will appeal to him.
