In a recent report, journalists Daniel Feliciano and Dean Jones stated that Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson. It has been revealed that Spurs are eager to strengthen their squad by recruiting the American talent this summer.
Robinson had an impressive campaign at the English club as he put in a run of impressive displays for them on the left flank. The 27-year-old participated in 38 matches for Fulham last season, securing ten assists in multiple competitions.
The Milton Keynes-born talent was a solid presence when defending inside his half after he made 95 tackles, 43 blocks and 62 interceptions in the Premier League. He even distributed possession relatively well based on his pass success rate of 76.8% in the English first division (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the English club will expire in the summer of 2028 which could make it difficult for Spurs to get a deal done for him on the cheap this off-season.

Robinson is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when required and can create a few promising chances for his teammates to score from the left flank. Robinson can strike the ball well from long range and is a decent runner as well.
The English sensation is primarily a left-back but can also serve as a left-sided wide player if told to do so. We can expect him to bring more quality and depth to Tottenham boss Thomas Frank’s defensive department. He already knows the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Tottenham.
Robinson has what it takes to fight for regular first-team football at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season. He might even help the North London club compete across all fronts in the coming years.
At 27, Robinson is playing in his prime which makes him a decent choice for Tottenham to pursue in this transfer window. Thus, it is only logical for Frank to try and go for him this summer.
