A thrilling 4-3 victory for the Catalan giants, and it saw Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Eric Garcia score for Barcelona. Despite being 2-0 down and with the referee making some questionable decisions as well, Hansi Flick’s team never gave up and did what they had to in order to get this win.

Here are the player ratings for Barcelona.

Barcelona Player Ratings

Wojciech Szczesny: 4.0

Not a great game for him, as the Polish goalkeeper conceded in almost every attack that Real Madrid made towards him, and his reactions were a bit slow as well.

Eric Garcia: 8.5

Brilliant display from the Spaniard, who constantly troubled Vinicius Jr on the right flank for Real Madrid. He even scored the goal that initiated the comeback for Barcelona.

Pau Cubarsi: 6.5

The youngster was solid in this game, but he made a vital early error that gave Real Madrid their first goal. Had to be taken off in the second half due to some physical discomfort, it seemed.

Inigo Martinez: 4.0

Poor game from Inigo Martinez, who should have been much more aware of the things around him. Made a few silly mistakes that cost Barcelona, and his mentality needed to be better in certain situations.

Gerard Martin: 6.5

Solid display from Gerard Martin as the game went on, but he was initially struggling to make an impact. The quality of Alejandro Balde, who replaced him, was clearly much better than him, however.

Frenkie de Jong: 8.5

The Dutchman had a great game in midfield, as he constantly won his duels and made the right decisions most of the time. Great display from the midfielder, who completely did what he was supposed to do in this game.

Pedri: 9.0

Toyed around with the opposition, Pedri was simply too much for them to handle. From Jude Bellingham to Lucas Vasquez, he ran circles around them and provided some sublime passes to his teammates, including an assist to Raphinha as well.

Lamine Yamal: 9.0

Brilliant performance from Lamine Yamal, the young 17-year-old winger completely dominated Real Madrid, especially in the first half. His goal was simply magical as well, curving the ball in a sublime manner.

Dani Olmo: 5.5

Not his best game, and he was far from being consistent in this match. His shots were wayward at times, and his passing was not where it should have been. Moreover, he gets outwrestled in the midfield far too often as well.

Raphinha: 9.0

Scored twice in crucial moments, and put in a lot of effort even apart from that. Unfortunately, he also missed some great chances that should have allowed Barcelona to put this game to bed.

Ferran Torres: 9.5

Despite not being the most technically superior player on the pitch, Ferran Torres managed to grab a hattrick of assists here. His runs were great, and he did well to hold up the ball to pass to his teammates and delivered some great assists.

Substitutes:

Andreas Christensen: 7.5

Massively important for Barcelona in this game, and he made some vital blocks and interceptions. Great game for the Danish defender.

Alejandro Balde: 7.5

He showed exactly why Barcelona had been missing him, as his speed unlocked a whole new avenue on the left flank. With Alejandro Balde on the pitch, Hansi Flick’s team looks much more dangerous.

Hector Fort: 6.0

Decent cameo from the Spanish full-back.

Fermin Lopez: 7.0

Looked to have scored a fifth goal for Barcelona, but it was ruled out.
