Chelsea’s 100% record in all competitions will be tested on Saturday evening despite having home advantage over leaders Manchester City, whom they trail by a single point with a game in hand.

Brighton and West Ham get the weekend underway with a lunchtime kick off, with the North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a 1.45pn start.

Sunday sees Aston Villa again attempt a first win of the campaign and in a crucial clash with a Crystal Palace side just a couple of points better off than themselves.

Next up is bottom-of-the-table Everton also looking for their opening victory, in what would be a perfect occasion for the Toffees to achieve it, being against Liverpool at Goodison Park.

Last but not least is Leicester City at home to an unbeaten Manchester United side, who have drawn their three most recent matches.

It’s third versus second in Sunday’s early Championship game, as Durham and London City Lionesses play their game in hand on leaders Birmingham City, whom they both trail  by three points.

A quartet of sides all sit a further two points back ahead of playing among themselves, as Charlton host Bristol City and Newcastle United are at St James’ Park for the visit of Southampton.

The other two games involves teams in the bottom four, although Sunderland are nine points above hosts Sheffield United, while Blackburn entertain a winless Portsmouth in the basement battle.
