Chelsea’s desire to accumulate the best young players in Europe has led them to the latest top talent to bubble up in Serie A – Kenan Yildiz.
The 19 year old Juventus starlet has had a breakout season, and now sources like the Gazzetta dello Sport are linking the likes of Manchester United and the Blues with interest in him. He’s one of the most highly rated young players, and certainly won’t come cheap.
But this ownership has shown time and again that they’re willing to do whatever it takes to secure talented young players from anywhere, at any time, and if Yildiz is available at a reasonable price, we’d expect the Blues to be all over him.
13 goal contributions this season are no mean feat given he’s not a guaranteed starter and is only starting to make his way in the senior game. This isn’t the first time his name has come up connected with us, we just wonder how he weighs up his chances of playing regularly should he join us.
While some players like Jadon Sancho and Mykhailo Mudryk may not be in the picture next season, there’s still a decent queue.

CaughtOffside also covered the rumours, and they gushed about the winger’s potential:
!He has all the attributes to develop into a top-class player, and the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United could groom him into a future star. Both clubs have done well to groom talented young players in recent seasons, and they could play a key role in his development.”
We’re not sure we’d agree we’re doing a great job developing these talented young players – but we’re certainly doing a good job signing them. We’ll keep an eye on this one.
