Tommaso Baldanzi is ready to become a new Roma player in the coming hours.

The 20-year-old midfielder from Empoli has agreed to a long-term deal with the Giallorossi and is now in the Italian capital to undergo his medical.

Earlier today, Baldanzi arrived at Villa Stuart where he will sustain all the necessary physical and fitness tests before heading to Trigoria to put his signature down on the new contract.

The announcement of his signing is expected to be made by the club between today and tomorrow as the transfer windows winds to an end in a few hours.
