Thomas called up to Scotland squad | OneFootball

Martha Thomas has been named in Scotland’s squad for their UEFA Nations League campaign this month.

Interim Head Coach, Michael McArdle, named our number 17 in the 24-player squad for their first fixtures of 2025 against Austria and the Netherlands.

The 28-year-old was in fine form for her country in 2024, scoring 10 goals across 10 games, helping them to reach the play-off stage of the UEFA EURO 2025, where they suffered a 2-0 loss on aggregate to Finland.

Following promotion back to ‘League A’ in the Nations League last summer, Scotland will face Germany, Austria and the Netherlands in Group A1.

McArdle’s side begin their campaign with a trip to Austria on Friday 21 February (5pm) before hosting the Netherlands at Hampden Park on Tuesday 25 February (7.30pm UK).

Martha has 42 caps for her country to date, scoring 21 goals in total.
