Chelsea will conduct a summer review of their goalkeeping position to establish whether they will enter the market according to reports.
The Blues are once again set for a busy summer and could look to fund their business by selling seven or eight players.
Chelsea face a critical window as they look to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad by signing a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.
One position supporters would like to see improved is the goalkeeping position given the issues the club have had this summer.
Robert Sanchez isn’t popular with supporters after making a number of errors leading to goals, and he was briefly replaced by Filip Jorgensen who didn’t fare much better.
Sanchez is back as the club’s number one, but arguably Chelsea’s best goalkeeper is at Strasbourg in Djordje Petrovic, whilst the Blues have high hopes for Belgian teenager Mike Penders.

It’s been reported Chelsea aren’t currently planning on signing a new keeper, and it’s believed Petrovic will come back and compete for the number one shirt.
However, The Telegraph have provided an update on the goalkeeping position and reported the Blues will conduct a summer review of the position before deciding if they need to enter the market.
The report adds if they don’t they will choose two from Sanchez, Jorgensen, Petrovic and Penders to be the keepers next season.

Chelsea have been linked AC Milan’s Mike Maignan and it will be interesting to see what the club decide to do in goal.
Supporters won’t be happy if Sanchez is at the club next season, let alone still number one, although the problem the Blues have is there’s unlikely to be a huge market for him, whilst they would struggle to get near the £25m they paid Brighton.
