There is plenty of Roshn Saudi League representation on the international stage at the moment, with Al Hilal in the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup and Saudi Arabia taking part in the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Like the club tournament, the continental cup is playing out in North America, where the United States and Canada host the event from June 14 to July 6.

And, other than the Green Falcons selected by manager Herve Renard, the RSL’s influence can be felt in other teams, too. Take a look at who from the Saudi top flight is seeking to excelling on the CONCACAF's grandest stage.

--------

The Al Qadsiah hitman arrives at the tournament having enjoyed an incredible debut campaign in the RSL. The Mexico international reached 20 league goals to conclude the campaign as the division’s fourth-highest scorer – a haul that helped fire the promoted side to a brilliant fourth-placed finish.

What’s more, his partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was something to behold.

Among the favourites for the Gold Cup, Quinones’ Mexico head a Group A that includes Costa Rica, Suriname and Dominican Republic. The defending champions will be intent on hanging onto their crown across these next few weeks – Quinones should be integral to those chances.

Orlando Mosquera (Panama)

The Al Fayha goalkeeper was a key component in the club’s ultimate escape from relegation, keeping a clean sheet in a third of all RSL matches he played. In fact, his 10 shut-outs ranked him third for the 2024-25 season, behind only Al Qadsiah’s Koen Casteels (14) and Al Ahli’s Edouard Mendy (12).

Three of those clean sheets arrived at an incredibly important time for Al Fayha, earning Mosquera the RSL Goalkeeper of the Month in February.

Fresh off helping Al Fayha place 13th, Mosquera is now part of the Panama squad who contest Group C alongside Jamaica, Guatemala and Guadeloupe. Two years ago, Mosquera was runner-up, his Panama team losing the final 1-0 to Mexico.

--------

Demarai Gray (Jamaica)

Speaking of Jamaica, the island side will be looking to the likes of Gray to help fire them into the knockout stage. The Al Ettifaq winger endured a difficult season in the RSL last time out: although making 24 appearances, he failed to register a goal or assist for the Dammam outfit.

However, Gray still played his part in Al Ettifaq’s superb turnaround in the second half of the season when, with Saudi Arabian Saad Al Shehri in charge, climbed to a seventh-placed finish.

At the Gold Cup – he reached the semi-finals in 2023 – Gray will hope to recapture his attacking thrust in what could prove a tight Group B.

--------

Damion Lowe (Jamaica)

If Jamaica can’t shine in attack, then they’ll bank on their defence helping plot their path to the quarter-finals, at least. Their backline might be bolstered by the Lowe’s hefty presence, the centre-back coming off the high of keeping Al Okhdood in the RSL for another season.

Lowe contributed to the Najran club’s last-gasp escape, with Paulo Sergio’s side ensuring top-flight status on the final day.

Also experiencing his debut campaign in the RSL, Lowe made 22 appearances – five of which produced clean sheets as Al Okhdood ended one spot, and one point, above the drop zone.

--------

Jurien Gaari (Curacao)

The versatile defender was a vital cog in Al Hazem’s return to the RSL at the first time of asking, the Ar Rass club clinching the final of three promotion spots by prevailing in the first-ever First Division League Play-off Final.

Gaari, who can operate at centre-back or right-back, missed out on last month's decider, when Al Hazem booked their place in the 2025-26 RSL by defeating Al Tai 3-0 to join NEOM SC and Al Najmah as the trio to jump into the top flight.

Still, Gaari presumably landed at the Gold Cup still on cloud nine. To keep the good times rolling, Gaari will look to emerge from a Group C comprising hosts Canada, Honduras and El Salvador.

Curacao, meanwhile, also possess another name that should be familiar to RSL fans: forward Juninho Bacuna was part of the Al Wehda side who unfortunately suffered relegation last season.
