The managers to win the UEFA Super Cup with different clubs

Luis Enrique has led Paris Saint-Germain to UEFA Super Cup success after his side beat Tottenham Hotspur on penalties.

PSG required a late comeback to force a shootout in the clash, recovering from two goals down. The European champions trailed 2-0 until the 85th minute, after Spurs struck first through Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.

Lee Kang-in’s goal pulled one back for PSG before a stoppage-time strike from Goncalo Ramos took the tie to penalties.

PSG missed first in the shootout when Vitinha missed the target, but new signing Lucas Chevalier saved from Van de Ven. After Mathys Tel missed for Spurs, Nuno Mendes fired home a winner to seal success for PSG.

It’s a fifth trophy of the calendar year for PSG, while Enrique has now joined an exclusive group of managers. The Spaniard has become just the fifth coach to lead two different teams to the UEFA Super Cup, after previously winning the trophy with Barcelona.
