The end of the domestic football season in Europe is approaching and the summer is bound to once again bring plenty of managerial changes.
Several clubs are reportedly considering a switch in the dugout, and here are some of the managers available right now that could be in consideration…
The former England manager is yet to return to management after leaving England following the European Championship final defeat to Spain.
He was previously heavily linked with the Man Utd job, before it went to Ruben Amorim, but has spoken about his desire to have a break before returning.
The 54-year-old has been in the news recently, voicing concerns about “manipulative and toxic” online influencers having a negative impact on young people.
While using his time away from football to attempt to influence positive change, it remains to be seen whether he will return to the dugout in the future. But his record with England surely means he deserves the opportunity.
The Dutchman was sacked by Manchester United last year after a disappointing start to the season despite his FA Cup success just a few months prior.
He was heavily linked with the Borussia Dortmund job before it was given to Niko Kovac and while his record at Man Utd might put clubs off, he has a good track record prior to his time in England including an outstanding spell with Ajax.
Clubs may see him as a bit of a gamble after his time at United but Ruben Amorim’s struggles at the club show that there is much more to the issues than the manager. Find the best online legal casinos at legalcasino.
The Barcelona legend has been out of a job since leaving the Catalan club in 2024.
He endured his challenges in the dugout but also plenty of success too, winning La Liga in the 2022-23 season and the Supercopa de Espana in 2023 as well.
It was the 45-year-old’s first big job in management having also previously coached Al Sadd in Qatar and he will surely get another chance at some point.
The experienced coached is most known for his two separate spells at Juventus, one between 2014 and 2019 before returning in 2021 and staying until 2024.
His second spell did not match the success of his first, where he won several major honours with the Italian giants including five league titles and five Coppa Italia trophies, as well as reaching the final of the Champions League in both 2015 and 2017.
He has attracted criticism for his defensive style of play but his record is impressive.
Terzic surprisingly left Borussia Dortmund despite guiding them to the Champions League final last season. The 42-year-old’s managerial career consists of two spells at the club and he also won the DFB Pokal in 2021.
His managerial career is still relatively young and surely has a long way to go yet.
His time at West Ham did not go the way he wanted to and he was sacked in January after just 20 Premier League games in charge.
Clubs will have plenty of doubts when considering Lopetegui but he has shown what he is capable of in the past, winning the Europa League with Sevilla in 2020.
The 39-year-old hit the headlines when he was appointed as Schalke manager at the age of just 32 and went on to have spells with Spartak Moscow, RB Leipzig, and most recently the Belgium national team, leaving the latter in January after a poor run.
Sacked by Everton this season with the club struggling for form and goals, but did a good job by consistently keeping them up.
Guided Burnley to Europa League qualification and while his brand of football has attracted criticism, he has proven he can get results with struggling teams.
Sacked somewhat harshly by Leicester City shortly after taking the job. Most known for his time with Nottingham Forest, where he guided them back to the Premier League.
Left Benfica last year after a two-year spell in charge which included him winning the league in 2022-23. Also previously coached PSV Eindhoven and Bayer Leverkusen among others.
A regular feature on these lists. Still yet to return to management after leaving Real Madrid, where he won three Champions League trophies and two league titles, and it is unclear if he wants to get back involved.
