The board at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to part with no fewer than seven members of the club’s first-team ranks this summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.

The subject of incomings has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 48 hours.

This comes after the long-awaited confirmation of Joan García’s signing was swiftly followed by the revelation that Barca have agreed on the personal terms of a contract with Nico Williams.

And yet, as things stand, the Blaugrana would have a tough time registering either with La Liga.

This comes owing to the bloated wage bill in Hansi Flick’s squad at present.

Deco and co. are therefore aware that something of a clearout will be required over the weeks ahead, to ensure that both Joan and Nico can begin the 2025/26 campaign on Barcelona’s books.

And with this in mind, an insight into the most likely candidates to be shipped off over the weeks and months ahead has today been provided.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Barça don’t see the need for a big sale. The club maintains that with the departures of Ansu Fati, Pau Víctor, Pablo Torre, Iñaki Peña, Andreas Christensen, Oriol Romeu, and Ter Stegen, they will be able to cover the costs of signing Nico Williams and Joan Garcia.’
