The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona have drawn up a shortlist of potential right-back signings with a view to next season.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona, it is understood, have identified the securing of fresh blood at full-back as something of a priority this coming summer.

Amid concern over the lack of depth behind first-choice pairing Alejandro Balde and even more so Jules Koundé, Deco and co, in turn, have long been scouring the market for potential options.

With finances remaining a concern, affordable profiles are currently leading the way when it comes to the Blaugrana’s search.

And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, an insight into five such players being discussed in the Camp Nou boardroom has been provided.

As per Sport, Barcelona consider the following as potential summer targets:

Vanderson (AS Monaco), Marc Pubill (Almería), Givairo Read (Feyenoord), Dodó (Fiorentina) and the likely more expensive Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen).
