Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has given an update on injuries for Harry Maguire and Noussair Mazraoui after both defenders were withdrawn at halftime in the 0-0 draw against Aston Villa.
The Manchester United defence looked solid and organised in the 0-0 against Unai Emery’s Aston Vila.
It was a relatively flat game with both sides struggling to create threatening chances and trouble either goalkeeper.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will be pleased with the performance and result but does have injury issues to deal with.
Speaking after the draw to Aston Villa, Ten has given an update to the media about the injuries sustained by Maguire and Mazraoui.
Speaking post-match as quoted by the official Manchester United website, Ten Hag said: “We have to assess this. I can’t tell you now what the issue is. I know what the issue is but [I cannot say now] how good or bad it is. We have to see assess this tomorrow [Monday] and then we will bring you news.”
