Robert Vilahamn has provided a positive update on Amanda Nildén ahead of this weekend’s Barclays Women’s Super League home encounter with Arsenal.
With the north London derby taking centre at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (kick-off 1.45pm) – tickets still available to buy – our Head Coach revealed that the Sweden international is back in contention for Saturday’s game after she returned to training this week.
The defender, who scored her first competitive goal of the Club in the win over Chelsea last month, has not been involved our last two clashes in the WSL against West Ham United and Manchester City.
Midfielders Maite Oroz and Kit Graham remain sidelined.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the north London derby, he told the media: “Amanda is back in the squad tomorrow, which is really good.
“Basically, the only two players who are not available is Kit and Maite, everyone else is able to be in the squad.”
