Talks between Paul Pogba and AS Monaco ‘progressing well’ | OneFootball

According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, talks between Paul Pogba (32) and AS Monaco are progressing, after contact was picked up following an initial approach several weeks ago. The Italian reports that talks are ‘going well’ and that it could soon lead to a signature. The Frenchman is free to play football again following the reduction of a sporting ban for doping charges. He has been allowed to train since January and play since March, but has waited for the summer to make his next career move. The 2018 World Cup winner has previously publicly stated that he is open to move to a Ligue 1 side. Once heavily linked to Marseille, the Frenchman was offered to AS Monaco after Les Olympiens couldn’t justify spending on his wage demands – according to a report from Foot Mercato.
