Strasbourg reject €35m bid from Nottingham Forest to sign Dilane Bakwa | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace have rejected a €35m bid from Nottingham Forest to sign France youth international winger Dilane Bakwa (22), according to L’Equipe. This is the Tricky Trees’ third bid to sign the Girondins de Bordeaux Academy graduate. Liam Rosenior’s Alsatians have reportedly set a €35m price tag on the 22-year-old Bakwa, but the BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 club still rejected Nottingham Forest’s latest offer.

Earlier today, Sacha Tavolieri reported that Nottingham Forest’s third bid was composed of a fixed €27.5m transfer fee with a further €7.5m in add-ons. Despite Strasbourg’s latest rejection, talks are underway between the two clubs. Bakwa is expected to leave Strasbourg as Rosenior seems to be already planning for a future without him. The France youth international winger is yet to start a competitive game, although he came off the bench for Strasbourg’s first two Ligue 1 games.
