As per information shared by @KrrishFT on social media the Scottish champions are exploring the possibility of bringing Bajcetic to the club on a loan deal with an option or obligation to buy.
‘Celtic have made initial contacts with Liverpool FC over a potential loan deal for Stefan Bekcetic in the last hours! The idea for Celtic is to sign Stefan Bajcetic on a loan with an option/obligation to buy, and have already made initial contacts with Liverpool regarding the move.
Stefan Bajcetic didn’t travel with Liverpool FC squad for pre-season tour to Asia due to an injury — the club will discuss the situation with Stefan Bajcetic soon, whether he wants to stay, leave on loan, or permanent basis.
Liverpool FC are open to selling Stefan Bajcetic on a permanent deal this summer, if the price set by the club is met by anyone interested.
Would like to give credits to @ClassLFC for breaking the information — huge credit to him for the exclusive.’

Talks are said to be at a very early stage, with no agreement in place yet.
This report aligns with an exclusive update earlier from @ClassLFC, who first broke the news that Celtic have approached Liverpool regarding the 20-year-old Spanish defensive midfielder, who can also play centre back.
According to his post Celtic favour a loan-to-buy structure and are closely monitoring Bajcetic’s situation.

Bajcetic, who joined Liverpool from Celta Vigo in 2020, has shown flashes of promise in his appearances for the senior side but missed the Reds’ pre-season tour to Asia due to injury. Liverpool are expected to make a decision on his future once the tour concludes.
It is understood that the Anfield club are open to letting Bajcetic leave permanently if their valuation is met, though they will also consider a loan move depending on discussions with the player and interested clubs.

With Celtic looking to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, Bajcetic could represent a valuable addition — offering technical quality and top-level potential. Bajetic has been capped five times by Spain at Under 21 level but is also eligible to represent Serbia. He has previously been on loan at Las Palmas and RB Salzburg.
