Spain boss De la Fuente hails Real Madrid youngster | OneFootball

Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has this week moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents of a member of the midfield ranks at Real Madrid.

The player in question? Arda Güler.

Youngster Arda is for his part of course fresh off an altogether productive opening to the new campaign.

Boasting the full backing of new manager Xabi Alonso, the 20-year-old has featured from the off in both of Real Madrid’s La Liga outings to date.

Not only that, but Arda has shone along the way, pulling the strings from midfield with trademark poise and technical excellence.

Speaking to the media during a press conference late this week, the name of the midfield starlet, in turn, was put to the aforementioned Luis de la Fuente.

And Spain’s headmaster did not hold back in his praise of Arda, explaining:

“Arda Güler is an exceptional player. We’re watching him here in La Liga with Real Madrid. His position has changed, he’s shown that he’s very versatile. He can play in deeper positions, close to the box, and also on the wing. He’s a great player.”
