Southampton have had an awful start to their Premier League homecoming. They have won only one league game all season. That said, pressure does not seem to be on Russell Martin at this stage.

Tonight, Southampton face Brighton away from home. It goes without saying that Russell Martin will put out his strongest lineup.

So, with team news considered, how will Southampton lineup to face Brighton in the Premier League tonight?

GK - Alex McCarthy. Aaron Ramsdale remains injured, which means backup goalkeeper Alex McCarthy will keep his spot between the sticks. He played awfully against Liverpool, so he'll hope for a better display against the Seagulls tonight.

CB - Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Played in all 12 Premier League games so far, making 11 starts. He will certainly make his 12th start of the season against Brighton tonight.

CB - Flynn Downes. With Jan Bednarek out injured, Flynn Downes will be handed another appearance in the back three. It works out well for Southampton and tonight, he will be given more freedom to break into the midfield.

CB - Jack Stephens. The captain will start for another game on the bounce. Having played the entire match against Liverpool, the old saying rings true - No rest for the wicked.

RWB - Kyle Walker-Peters. Played the entire match against Liverpool. He has been one of Southampton's better creators this season, so he'll hope for greater attacking freedom at the Amex.

CM - Joe Aribo. Came on at the weekend earlier than Martin would've liked. However, given that Adam Lallana picked up another injury. Aribo is best-placed to start tonight.

CM - Mateus Fernandes. Made some great comments in midweek about being hungrier than ever to win games. After scoring his first Premier League goal at the weekend, Fernandes will be looking to build momentum tonight.

CM - Tyler Dibling. It's becoming impossible for Russell Martin to bench Dibling. As one of Southampton's diamonds in the rough this season, he deserves a consecutive start.

LWB - Ryan Manning. Probably time for Ryan Manning to come back into the fray.

CF - Adam Armstrong. Southampton's best player against Liverpool, despite missing the penalty. He scored a goal and provided an assist, even from a limited position.
