Eintracht Frankfurt have set an asking price of €100m for Chelsea transfer target Hugo Ekitike according to reports.
The Blues are gearing up for another busy summer and could look to sell as many as seven or eight players in order to fund their moves in the market.
Chelsea face arguably their most important window under the new ownership with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.
The Blues failed to sign a striker in the last two windows and have paid the price for not having an alternative to Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with Liam Delap, whist Benjamin Sesko is also on a five man short list which includes Ekitike.
The 22-year-old is having a brilliant season for Frankfurt, scoring 21 goals so far including one against Tottenham in the Europa League.

The Frenchman is set to be a man in demand this summer and Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has provided an update.
He took to X.com and said:
“Eintracht Frankfurt have raised the price tag for Hugo #Ekitike! Markus Krösche is now demanding at least €100m as a transfer fee.
“Most recently, #SGE had been expecting a fee of around €80m. Eintracht are still preparing for his departure this summer, with the 22 y/o striker likely to leave. Contract until 2029. 21 goals and 9 assists across all competitions so far.”
Ekitike only joined Frankfurt on a permanent basis last summer from Paris Saint Germain, but it appears he could be on the move again.

The France under-21 international certainly has an eye for goal, but the asking price is high, with there arguably better options available for a lower fee such as a Viktor Gyokeres or Viktor Osimhen.
Frankfurt have every right to ask for a high fee given Ekitike is under contract until 2029, but it would appear the chances of a club paying that much would be slim, especially Chelsea.
