Real Madrid have recently announced the final squad that will take on Arsenal on Tuesday, in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

It is perhaps needless to point out that there were multiple notable absentees from the Real Madrid squad as the club are going through yet another injury crisis.

However, even the available players are heading into the Arsenal game might have to approach with caution as some of them are running the risk of suspension.

Six Real Madrid players at risk of missing second leg

Indeed, a total of six Real Madrid players are currently running the risk of accumulating a yellow card suspension, which will be applicable in the second leg tie against Arsenal, reports MARCA.

The players in question include Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Modric, Lucas Vazquez, Vinicius Jr., Endrick and Antonio Rudiger.

All of these aforementioned players picked up at least two yellow cards in the Champions League this season and are, therefore, only one more booking away from missing the second leg.

This is not something Real Madrid can afford considering the fact that the club are already facing multiple absentees due to injury.

The absence of someone like Vinicius or Modric, for an example, could badly hurt Real Madrid’s chances against the Gunners, who are known for their rigid defence.

Moreover, it must be noted that even Carlo Ancelotti is facing a suspension risk having already picked up multiple yellow cards this season.

If the Italian is once again caught for transgression, he will not be allowed to spend the second leg on the touchline.

Caution, therefore, could be the name of the game as Real Madrid take on Arsenal this midweek.
