Benjamin Sesko does not want to move to the Saudi Pro League despite the collapse of the forward’s transfer to Arsenal.
Arsenal held talks with RB Leipzig over the signing of the Slovenian striker earlier in the transfer window but were unable to agree a fee.
The North London side have since switched their attention to Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres with an an agreement reached with the Portuguese champions.
Sesko has since received enquiries from Saudi Pro League teams but is prepared to reject all offers. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the 22-year-old’s ‘total focus’ is on European football at this stage of his career.
There has been interest from Italy in Sesko. Manchester United and Liverpool have also tracked his progress in the Bundesliga. However, the latter are prioritising moves for either Alexander Isak, of Newcastle, or Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.
Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions for Leipzig last season and has impressed since his arrival from sister-club Red Bull Salzburg.
