With FC Barcelona working to finalise several exits from the club in the coming days, one of the players expected to depart is young midfielder Pablo Torre.
Despite being held in high regard by the coaching staff and the sporting department, the 22-year-old starlet has been unable to find a place in the team owing to the quality of competition in the No. 10 role.
After all, Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez, and Gavi are all ahead of him in the pecking order. As such, Torre is expected to leave Barça this summer, either on loan or a permanent transfer with a buyback option.
Now, according to reports from La Lazio Siamo Noi in Italy, Serie A giants Lazio are interested in signing Pablo Torre from Barcelona and have opened talks over a possible move.
Having brought Maurizio Sarri back as their manager heading into the next season, the Italian capital club are looking to add a creative midfielder with attacking flair to their ranks and Torre’s profile fits the bill.

As such, Lazio are now in talks with Barcelona regarding a potential permanent transfer, with a reported fee of around €6 million for the 22-year-old Spaniard, who only has one year left on his contract.
Such a deal would still generate a profit for the Catalan club, who paid €5 million to sign him from Racing Santander back in 2022.
Torre played just a little over 400 minutes in the 2024/25 season for Barça, indicating that he does not have a regular spot in Hansi Flick’s plans. Despite his limited minutes, the midfielder managed to score four and assist three goals.
An exit in the summer might be the best option for the player and the club, who will likely look to insert a buyback and a future sell-on clause in any deal.
Torre is also attracting interest from the Bundesliga but Lazio seem to have taken a step further by opening talks with Barcelona.
