KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued with defending champions Cavalier FC playing to a 1-1 draw against Juventus des Cayes in Group B on Thursday at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

The reigning champions had the chance to go up early after earning an early penalty, but Adrian Reid’s attempt in the 13’ was blocked by Juventus des Cayes goalkeeper Emmanuel Victor.

Cavalier did get on the board in the 18’, as Shamar Watson played a ball off his chest and smashed a rocket on the second bounce from way outside the box.

The slim lead wasn’t enough to hold off the Haitian side, who equalized in the 77’ when Peterson Seide’s free kick attempt kissed off the crossbar into the net.

Cavalier FC will seek its first win of the campaign in its next Group Stage encounter on September 17 against Defence Force FC.

Juventus des Cayes will also seek its first three points when it resumes Caribbean Cup play on September 18 against Weymouth Wales FC.
