It's a Super Sunday in MLS with three games to check out before we head into the final month-and-a-half of the season.

Here is what went down.

Seattle Sounders 5-2 Sporting KC

Scorers: Kossa-Rienzi 11', Muskovski 45+1', 50', 75', Brunell 61' ; Toye 36', Baker (OG) 53'

The Sounders put five past Sporting Kansas City in a thrilling Pacific Northwest affair.

While the visitors from Kansas City did pull to within one goal on a number of occasions, a Danny Musovski hat-trick powered Seattle to an emphatic win as they look to cement themselves as a top-four team in the Western Conference.

Charlotte 1-0 New York Red Bulls

Scorers: Vargas 30'

Charlotte jumped back up into the top-four of the Eastern Conference with a gutsy win over New York Red Bulls Sunday evening.

A lone Kerwin Vargas stunner saw Dean Smith's side over the line despite a late push from the visitors.

While Charlotte now sit just five points out of 2nd in the Eastern Conference, they remain only three points clear of NYCFC in 8th place.

Atlanta United 0-0 Toronto FC

Eastern Conference strugglers Atlanta United and Toronto played out a stale goalless draw at the Benz to kick off the MLS festivities on Sunday.

The lack of star-power with MLS' most expensive player, Emmanuel Latte Lath, out due to injury was very apparent.

Both sides sit well outside of the playoff picture, and have their sights set on next season already.
