SC Freiburg demanding €20m for Ritsu Doan amid interest from Eintracht Frankfurt | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that SC Freiburg are demanding around €20m for winger Ritsu Doan amid interest from fellow Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Frankfurt are looking to upgrade their right-wing position, as it is an area that they currently lack depth and quality in, with only Ansgar Knauff a regular performer.

Freiburg’s Doan is said to be top of their list, Die Adler have watched the winger for a while and initial talks between the Japanese international and Frankfurt have already taken place. Frankfurt even wanted to go as far as trying to sign Doan in the winter.

However, Freiburg see Doan as a key member of their squad and will only begin considering a deal for the 26-year-old for a fee of around €20m.

Bild have previously reported that Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa and Celtic forward Nicolas Kühn are also interested in Frankfurt in the right-wing position, but Doan remains their number one priority.
